Ant Farm (active from 1968 to 1978) was an architecture and art collective, founded by radical architects, designers, and artists (Chip Lord, Doug Michaels, Hudson Marquez, Douglas Hurr, Hudson Marquez, Curtis Schreier) in San Francisco. Ant Farm was represented at documenta 6 in Kassel in 1977. In 1978 a fire destroyed their studio at Pier 40 in San Francisco. As a result, the group disbanded.
