Chryssa (Chryssa Vardea Mavromichali, Vardea M. Chryssa, b. 1933, Athens; d. 2013, Athens) lived in New York and Paris. She was a painter and sculptor of conceptual art and a light artist. Elements of her compositions are writing, language, communication and symbols.
In 1968 she participated in the 4th documenta in Kassel.
Chryssa studied at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris.
