Filippo Tommaso Marinetti (F.T. Marinetti, b. 1876, Alexandria / Egypt, d. 1944, Bellagio / Italy) was a writer, theorist and founder of Futurism. In 1909 he published the first Futurist Manifesto. In 1918 he founded the Futurist Political Party, which later merged with Mussolini's Italian Fascist Party.
