Lawrence Carroll (b.1954, Melbourne, Australia; d. 2019) lived in Los Angeles and Bolsena, Italy. He became known for his "Table Paintings" of wood residues and cardboard. In 1992 he participated at documenta 9 in Kassel. Lawrence Carroll studied at Moorpark College, California; Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, California, and Otis Art Institute, Los Angeles.
