Gallery Tom Christoffersen is pleased to present Anne Sofie Bird Møller and Anders W.Ø. Larsen.

As a continuation of 2002's "Elmer's Cut" and 2004's "New Blood" which presented some of the youngest interesting voices in contemporary painting, we have this year cut our "academy graduate show" to its bare basics: One Danish and one German painter presenting radically different painterly styles. Anders W.Ø. Larsen graduated last year from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and is already known on the youngest Danish art scene for his stylized and poetic narratives of nature and his decoration work. Danish born Anne Sofie Bird Møller, who is a graduate of this year from Akademi der Bildenden Künste in Munich (Bavaria), has not until now shown her glossy, 'metallo-organic', heavy and powerful paintings in Denmark.

In these years where Danish artists flock to Berlin as they flocked to Cologne twenty years ago, we are delighted to bring young German painting to meet Danish art in Copenhagen !
