This international survey of the work of Gertrud Goldschmidt, known as Gego (Hamburg, 1912 – Caracas, 1994)—one of the most important postwar artists in Latin America—charts her interdisciplinary artistic production through different yet interrelated fields: architecture, design, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, fabric, site-specific installations, spatial interventions, public art and pedagogy. Arranged chronologically, the exhibition includes over 120 works in a variety of media from the early 1950s to the early 1990s, encompassing every period in the artist’s production.

Gego: Measuring Infinity is organized by Museo Jumex, Mexico City; the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York; and Museu de Arte de São Paulo Assis Chateaubriand—MASP.
