The second in a series of sculptures positioned in front of the Museum adjacent to Main Street called Main Street Sculpture Project, Jon Conner’s installation consisted of forty-two carved Styrofoam animals. Three pigs, three sheep, one steer, thirty chickens, and five rabbits were deliberately sculpted to resemble computer-generated animals, playing off our desire for a simpler life and also acknowledging our naïveté about what a simpler life may be.
