Adrian Piper (b. 1948, New York), based in Berlin since 2005 , is a philosopher and conceptual artist. She has explored a wide range of diverse mediums: drawing, photography, photomontage, video, sound installation, performance, painting, sculpture. In 2002 she participated at documenta 11 in Kassel. Adrian Piper studied at the Harvard University; at the City College of New York; and at the School of Visual Arts.
