Betty Parsons (b. 1900, New York; d. 1982, New York) was an an abstract painter, gallerist and collector. In her gallery 'Betty Parsons Gallery, New York' (circa 1920-1991), she presented Hans Hofmann, Ad Reinhardt, Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Ellsworth Kelly, Clyfford Still, Barnett Newman, Agnes Martin, Jasper Johns, Richard Pousette-Dart, Leon Polk Smith and Richard Tuttle. Betty Parsons studied at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière, Paris under Émile-Antoine Bourdelle and Ossip Zadkine.
