Claudia Schmuckli

Claudia Schmuckli is the first Curator-in-Charge of Contemporary Art and Programming at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (FAMSF). From 1997 to 1999 she was assistant curator at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York; 1999 to 2003 assistant curator at the Museum of Modern Art, New York; 2004-2009 curator at the Blaffer Art Museum / University of Houston; and since 2009 director and chief curator of the Blaffer Art Museum. Claudia Schmuckli studied art history at the Ludwigs-Maximilians-Universität, Munich.
