Johann Heinrich Füssli (Henry Fusely, born 1741 in Zurich, died 1825 in Putney Hill / London) lived in England. He was a history painter, draftsman, writer and is considered an important artist of Mannerism and Symbolism. His themes were visions and dreams, also horror dreams and above all a world of provocative scenes with portraits of women, which were not intended for the general public.
