Monica de Miranda

Mónica de Miranda (b. 1986, Porto, Portugal) is an artist, filmmaker and researcher living in Lisbon and Luanda. Her research interests include the interconnections between politics, identity and gender. Mónica de Miranda is co-founder and co-director of Hangar, an artistic research center located in Graça, Lisbon, together with Bruno Leitão. She studied at Camberwell College of Arts, London and Artistic Studies at the Middlesex University, London.
