Paul Nash (1889 born in London, died in 1946 in Boscombe / Bournemouth) was an English modern painter. He studied at St Paul’s School, Slade School of Fine Art, Chelsea College of Art and Design in London. In 1938 he participated at the Venice Biennale. During World War I and in the beginning of World War II he worked as an official war artist.
