Sigurđur Guđjónsson (b. 1975, Reykjavik/Iceland) lives in Reykjavik. Guðjónsson's entire oeuvre is characterized by the interplay of sound and vision. In 2022 he represents Island at the Venice Biennale. Sigurđur Guđjónsson studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and at the Iceland Academy of the Arts and Billedskolen, Copenhagen.
