Steve Reinke (b. 1963, Eganville, Ontario / Kanada) is an artist and writer. He is best known for his work in video, in which he examines ideas of identity, homosexuality, history, society, death, life, art and science, blurring the lines between fiction and documentation. Reinke participated at La Biennale de Montréal, Berlinale, Athens Biennale, Whitney Biennial, Istanbul Biennial, International Film Festival Rotterdam, Videonale Bonn. amongst others. He studied at the NSCAD University.
