Toyen (Marie  Cermínová, b 1902, Prague, d. 1980, Paris) was one of the founders of the Surrealist movement in Prague in 1934. She had contact with André Breton and Paul Eluard and translated Arthur Rimbaud, Lautréamont, Alfred Jarry, Guillaume Apollinaire into Czech.
