Vera Chaves Barcellos (born 1938, Porto Alegre, Brazil), based in Barcelona and Viamao, Brazil, participated at the Venice Biennale in 1976 and at the Biennial Sao Paulo in 1977. She studied at the Central School of Arts and Crafts and Saint The School of Art in London, at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague and the Académie de la Grande Chaumiere in Paris.
