Anthony Hernandez

In the main gallery will be work from Hernandez’s Beverly Hills Series, 1984 series – richly colored photographs of the people and storefronts along Rodeo drive and the surrounding areas. The photographs reflect the excess and pageantry of the era, presenting the big hair, shiny cars, and over-accessorized shoppers in super saturated color. On view in the south gallery will be Hernandez’s vintage black and white street photographs, taken in downtown Los Angeles in the early ‘70’s.
