Piccinini had been selected as the Artist of Australian Pavillion of 50th Venice Biennale.

Art Taipei Executive Committee is honored to report the great success of Art Taipei 2005 resulting US $ 3.2 million dollars in sales and we are expecting exponential market growth in 2006 as well.

Art Taipei 2006 will take place in May 2006, in Hua Shan Cultural and Creative Industry Center. Aside the galleries section featuring Asian leading galleries, the special section, New Figure, New Art, will invite respectable contemporary galleries all over the world. This selection sponsored by Council for Culture Affairs will bring galleries and artists the chance to connect Taiwan art market and its curators.

After Art Taipei 2005, we have built the circumstantial structure of this event, including advertising and marketing in publications such as local art magazine, commercial weekly magazine and newspaper, Art AsiaPacific, Asian Art New and etc. To ensure the comfort of our collectors, we have established VIP Service and VIP Forum with professional art market analysts to provide communicating environments for collectors, gallerists and artists.
