In 2018, the MAGASIN des Horizon / Mhz is launching a protean, collaborative project: The WALKS ACADEMY. There is not a path left that’s not populated with active walkers! Is walking a remedy for today’s ills? The ACADEMY gets going in 2018 with BIVOUACS, its first installment which will include walks, discussions, meetings…. Between January and March, BIVOUACS will take place across the region, from the plain to the massifs.

BIVOUACS are the first installment in a long-term project in 2018, i.e. the WALKS ACADEMY. Between January and March, walkers and artists will be coming your way from Villard de Lans to Adrets, from Col de Papavet (Trièves) to Sappey!

BIVOUACS THROUGHOUT THE REGION! BIVOUACS are transitional camps, set up for the duration of an evening, where artistic creations and walkers can exchange ideas and cross paths! Come discover artists’ videos—Fayçal Baghriche, Trisha Brown, Mircea Cantor, Maria Kourkouta, Guido van de Werve…—and lend your ears to walkers, scientists, artists, and activists discussing the vast subject that brings us together, that is, walking!
