press release

This year’s final exhibition at galleri s.e shows works by four great international artists, all still active and with an average age of 84.

Louise Bourgeois is 95 years old, and has in recent years created some of her finest work, including an enormous spider – the very first Unilever commission – for London’s Tate Modern.

John Chamberlain, 79, is famous for his fantastic sculptures created from wrecked cars. His works can be found at many of the world’s greatest museums and he is still an active and exciting international artist.

The painter Ed Moses, 80, works and lives in Los Angeles. Moses is considered an icon in the art world, continually breaking new ground with his paintings. His work “Harrer” from 1977 is featured at the end of this press release.

Our final artist is Kenneth Noland, 82. Still a very active painter, he is identified today as one of the best-known contemporary American Color field painters and is widely regarded as the greatest Colourist since Matisse.

This exhibition is a unique opportunity to experience works by four of the greatest living artists of our time.
