CrossFade

A joint project of SFMOMA, The Goethe-Institut, ZKM Karlsruhe, and the Walker Art Center, CrossFade focuses on the Web as a performative space for sound art. Creating a platform for diverse sonic and musical directions that utilize network technology, the site integrates works of sound and visual art, houses an archive of live events, and features a special "asynchronous" area — including essays by Josephine Bosma, Chris Chafe, Golo Foellmer, and Greg Niemeyer — for further exploration.
