Dawn Till Dusk

NEW YORK – Jen Bekman Gallery is pleased to present Dawn Till Dusk, a group exhibition featuring photographs, paintings and works on paper by twenty-six artists.

An opening reception will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Dawn Till Dusk will be on view Friday, June 17 through Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Jen Bekman Gallery, located at 6 Spring Street, New York, New York.

Dawn Till Dusk progresses throughout the course of a day to explore our impressions of time. The exhibition brings together emerging and established contemporary artists with a range of approaches—from overt use of light and shadow to more subtle emotional cues in palette and tone—to signify the passing of hours. Following the motion of a clock, the works in Dawn Till Dusk flow from day to night, reinforcing the influence of time-based elements.
