Although this series that will be exhibited in Sao Paulo is the one that shows the new directions that I’ve been incorporating in my production”, says Jose Resende.

In the exhibition space of the gallery, new works and others that were never released before will be disposed in two groups, with nine pieces each, apart from six drawings, made with bastidores de fibra, red silk and copper. In the first group, there will be: works made of mirror, glass, mercury, paraffin, and red silk; in the second, the materials are bronze, glass, paraffin and red silk.

“The number of pieces and how they are disposed was thought in order to present the new aspects the work is assuming, in connection with the space of the new gallery. It consists of a big set of works, which dimensions vary according to what was determining in its execution”, concludes the artist.
