Lionel Davis: Gathering Strands

The Iziko South African National Gallery together with the District Six Museum is pleased to announce an exhibition by Lionel Davis. The anti-Apartheid activist and artist will be displaying his work at an exhibition titled, Lionel Davis: Gathering Strands which comprises of work which echoes the country’s political and cultural shifts, whilst keeping the memory of his life in District Six alive.
The retrospective exhibition coincides with the artist’s 81st birthday and will be open for viewing from 21 June until mid-September 2017 at the Iziko South African Gallery.
