Oliver Held

For the new work Kino, Oliver Held filmed the front of a cinema building for four and a half hours. Out of this, he took three active minutes, in which people, cars and streetcars pass by. In the resulting three minute looped projection, each frame has been replaced by a frame of the left over hours from the original film, using specially developed image recognising software.
