The exhibition Queensize at Museum Arnhem showcases more than 100 works by international artists. The title refers to the bed size. Beds are an essential part of life and symbolise the cycle of birth, life and death. The works in the exhibition deal with themes that include birth and decay, death, dreams and nightmares, and the experiences that shape our identity. Queensize is a selection from the collection of Thomas Olbricht (DE), who has collected contemporary art for over 30 years. His art collection includes more than 1700 works. Queensize has already been presented in Berlin (ME Collectors Room Berlin) and is compiled by the German director Nicola Graef and ME curator Wolfgang Schoppmann.
