Roger Shimomura, professor emeritus of art at the University of Kansas, uses his paintings and prints to examine his identity as a Japanese American, his artistic heritage-which ranges from Pop art to ukiyo-e prints, and his life in both Seattle, Washington and Lawrence, Kansas. His deft, wry sense of humor and remarkable skill as an artist will make for a stunning, visual presentation.
