The Robert Klein Gallery is pleased to host an exhibition of photographs by Aaron Siskind in celebration of the 100th anniversary of his birth. The exhibition will include important early vintage black-and-white prints by Siskind, an essential figure in both the development of modern photography, and the abstract expressionistic movement. These photographs will be accompanied by recent large scale works by the celebrated contemporary photographer and critic Carl Chiarenza, author of Aaron Siskind: Pleasures and Terrors (Little, Brown, 1982).
