Focusing on the later periods of pop art and continuing through to minimalism and the art of the '90s, this exhibition encompasses in-depth monographic installations of work by leading artists of that era. Included are painting, sculpture, photography, and works on paper by Diane Arbus, Claes Oldenburg, James Rosenquist, Sol LeWitt, Chris Burden, Mike Kelley, Dan Flavin, and Charles Ray. Together with A Room of Their Own: From Rothko to Rauschenberg, the presentation spans more than 50 years of contemporary art. Organized by MOCA Chief Curator Paul Schimmel.
