press release

crimes tribunal the Hague. On occasion of the First Berlin Photography Festival we present two artistic positions, which reflect upon the war and its consequences in a documentary manner.

The photographies of Alen Hebilovic and the film planet Sarajevo of Sahin Sisic -each with a completely different perspective and language- mirror the very subjective impressions of the two artists. Some of the repressed events are thereby fetched back into our consciousness.
