La Presencia: Latin American Art in the United States is a survey exhibition about contemporary art of Latin American from 1950 to the present. The art has been gathered from important private and public collections in the United States, from California, Texas, Illinois, Florida and New York.

representational art presents the principle artists that have worked in the various currents of contemporary figurative art from the 1950s to the 1980s.
geometric, kinetic & optical art defines a movement of artists that broke with the figurative tradition to create different styles of geometric based sculpture and painting.
pop art / neo pop demonstrates the influence of American Pop Art in Latin America from the 1960s and again in the 1980s with the intention to criticize Western ideology.
conceptual art emphasizes an art in which the concept or idea is more important than the actual object pursued in the diverse media of found objects, photography and performance based art.
