Charline von Heyl (b. 1960, Mainz / Germany) is a painter. She participated in the Cologne art scene in the 1980s before moving to New York in 1995. She was a finalist for the Hugo Boss Prize in 2014 and has been awarded residencies Wexner Center for the Arts in Columbus, and the Chinati Foundation in Marfa / Texas. Charline von Heyl studied at the Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg and at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf with Jörg Immendorf and Fritz Schwegler.
