Naum Gabo (Nehemia Pevsner, 1890 born in Briansk / Russia, 1977 died in Waterbury / Conn. USA) was an important artist of the Constructivism. 1920 he published the "Realistic Manifesto" together with his brother Antoine Pevsner. 1933 he became a member of the group "Abstraction-Création". He was a Professor at Harvard University, Cambridge and in 1955 he participated at the documenta 1 in Kassel.
