ANNA-CATHARINA GEBBERS is an internationally active curator and writer in Berlin, Germany and London, UK; Director and artistic manager of the project space Bibliothekswohnung; curator at Nationalgalerie im Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart | Museum for Contemporary Art – Berlin. She has curated shows for the 3rd Triennial of Photography Hamburg, the 4th Berlin Biennial, Performa 07, New York, and she initiated the exhibition and performance-art project The Three Cities: Berlin, Milan, London. On invitation by the London-based Zabludowicz Collection/projectspace 176 she works as advisory board member and guest curator in London. Gebbers is the editor for polar – magazin für politik, theorie. alltag.; author of publications on artists such as Thomas Scheibitz, Paloma Varga Weisz and Thomas Schütte and her work appears in the magazines Artist and Frieze, among others.
