Kader Attia (born 1970, Dugny / Seine-Saint-Denis, France) is an installation artist and photographer based in Paris, Berlin and Algiers. In 2016, Kader Attia was awarded the Marcel Duchamp Prize, followed by the Prize of the Miró Foundation, Barcelona, and the Yanghyun Art Prize, Seoul, in 2017. He studied at the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Appliqués Duperré, Paris; at the Escola de Artes Applicades La Massana, Barcelona; and at the Ecole National Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs Paris.
