Robert Filliou (b. 1926 in Sauve/France, d. 1987 in Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil/France) was one of the main exponents of the Fluxus movement. Since 1962 he participated in Fluxus actions and collaborated with the poet Emmett Williams. Objectives included the synthesis of pictorial and literary art and the inclusion of the creative forces of the audience. 1972 he was participant of documenta 5 in Kassel and 1984-87 he retired to a convent in the Dordogne.
