Ed Ruscha (Edward Ruscha, born 1937 in Omaha/Nebraska) is one of the most influential American artists since the 1950s. He developed a mixture of minimalism, pop art, and conceptualism and represented the United States in the 51st Venice Biennale 2005. Ed Ruscha studied at Chouinard Art Institut in Los Angeles and lives in Los Angeles.
